National Police Service Commission Chairperson Eliud Kinuthia CBS, today chaired a Commission meeting with full quorum and attendance by all the Commissioners. The Inspector General National Police Service Mr. Japhet Koome, MGH, ndc (K) led the commanders of KPS Mr. Douglas Kanja, CBS, APS Mr. Noor Gabow, CBS and Director DCI Mr. Amin Mohammed, CBS to attend the meeting as part of their Constitutional obligation. Commissioners Dr. Alice Otwala, CBS, Edwin Cheluget, John Ole Moyaki, MBS, Lilian Kiamba, MBS and Mr. Peter Leley, the Commission Secretary/CEO also attended.

The Commission deliberated on critical matters affecting the terms and conditions of service and welfare of police officers and civilian staff of NPS, including Review of Salary, Recruitment, Promotions, Transfers, Disciplinary control and Appeals in line with the Constitutional mandate of the Commission.
