Chairperson Dr. Amani Komora and CEO Peter Leley attended the official launch of the Public Service Commission (PSC) Strategic Plan 2025–2029 and its Service Charter at Kenyatta International Convention Centre, (KICC) Nairobi.
The event presided over by Hon. Geoffrey Ruku, Cabinet Secretary for Public Service, Human Capital Development and Special Programs brought together senior government officials and key stakeholders from across the public sector.
In his remarks, Dr. Komora congratulated PSC on the successful launch describing the Strategic Plan as a clear roadmap and a practical framework for enhancing efficiency, accountability and service excellence within the public sector. He also highlighted the importance of sustained collaboration, knowledge sharing and harmonization of best practices to strengthen governance standards in the public service.
The Chairperson conveyed NPSC’s best wishes to the PSC as it embarks on the implementation of the Strategic Plan expressing confidence that its execution will significantly contribute to improved service delivery across the public sector.
The Strategic Plan sets out key goals, including the delivery of efficient and effective public services; development of an agile, motivated and committed public service workforce; entrenchment of values and ethics in service delivery; strengthening of constitutionalism and the rule of law; and optimisation of institutional efficiency and effectiveness.
