NPSC Hosts Implementing Committee for Consultations on NADCO Report

The Committee overseeing the implementation of the 10-Point Agenda and the NADCO Report, led by Dr. Agnes Zani, held consultative engagements with the National Police Service Commission (NPSC). The meeting formed part of ongoing nationwide consultations seeking to address Kenya’s social, economic and political challenges.

The consultations focused on gaining deeper insights into progress made to date, identifying emerging issues, and exploring opportunities within the implementation of the 10-Point Agenda and the NADCO Report particularly in relation to internal security, policy formulation, and coordination of national activities.

The Commission Chairperson, Dr. Amani Yuda Komora welcomed the consultative engagement, committing to meaningful, informed, and constructive deliberations on the implementation of the 10-Point Agenda and the NADCO Report.

The Chairperson noted that the Commission’s submission is anchored in its constitutional mandate under Articles 246, 249, 10, and 232 of the Constitution, and is intended to ensure that the implementation of the MoU is constitutionally compliant, institutionally sound, and responsive to the needs and aspirations of Kenyans, while safeguarding the independence and functional mandate of the Commission.

These engagements are critical in ensuring that the implementation process remains inclusive, informed by diverse perspectives, and responsive to the needs and aspirations of all Kenyans, as the Committee works towards delivering a comprehensive public report in 2026.

Among those in attendance were members of the implementing Committee, including Fatuma Ibrahim Ali and Oguda Gabriel, as well as Commissioners and members of the Commission Secretariat.
